A Note from The founders

Weismoir began with a shared belief that the objects we choose to live with can shape the way we remember.

As husband and wife, we have spent years talking about the places that have remained with us long after we left them. A quiet library. The warmth of an old hotel lobby. Winter afternoons walking through Manhattan. The familiar scent of paper, wood, wool, and well-loved rooms. We found ourselves returning to the same question:

Why do certain places never truly leave us?

That question became the beginning of Weismoir.

Our work explores the relationship between scent, psychology, craftsmanship, and architecture—not as separate disciplines, but as different ways of understanding memory itself.

Every collection begins in Grasse, France, where generations of perfumers have practiced their craft with extraordinary care. It continues with American artisans who handcraft each vessel, believing that the object should possess the same permanence as the fragrance it protects.

Every decision—from the composition of the fragrance to the weight of the glass, the typography, and the materials chosen to present it—is made with intention.

Nothing is hurried.

Nothing exists simply to impress.

Everything is designed to endure.

Our inaugural fragrance, French Study Suede, is the first expression of this philosophy. Inspired by studies, libraries, historic hotels, and the quiet beauty of lived-in spaces, it is composed not simply as a fragrance, but as an atmosphere—one that invites reflection, familiarity, and return.

We do not believe fragrance should simply smell beautiful.

We believe it should become part of a life.

Thank you for allowing our work to become part of yours.

With gratitude,

R.T. Remington & Suzanne Eileen
